Bulgaria is fast becoming a favourite ski destination, with a great deal of monies having already been invested in the infrastructure around the main ski areas.  Whether you are experienced at skiing, or a complete newcomer there is plenty to choose from in Bulgaria, with all of the ski resorts offering tuition, and runs of varying levels of expertise.

Bansko is located in the South-Western part of Bulgaria, at the foot of the beautiful Pirin range of mountains. It has developed into a favourite ski and snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities and combined with it's unique architecture and historical significance. Bansko is an established town, so has many visitors throughout the year and not just for the ski season. During the other seasons activities such as fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, walking, swimming etc. are very popular, and as Bankso is an established area, there are plenty of bars, restaurants etc open throughout the year.

Borovets and Pamporova are both ski resorts which offer excellent skiing during the season, although as they are recognised more as ski resorts - amenities during the rest of the year are limited.
Vitosha is a ski resort on the outskirts of Sofia, no development is permitted within the actual resort, but it is very easily accessible from Sofia, where we have a good range of property for sale.
